Educational Technology Services provides and supports three technological tools designed to help deliver instruction remotely and/or asynchronously. Zoom, Kaltura, and Podcasting are available to all faculty and students to facilitate engaging instruction as well as lecture capture and delivery. Learn more about each of these tools by clicking the links below.
Zoom webconferencing software allows for video, audio, and screen sharing between participants during live meetings, and meetings can be recorded and shared to support asynchronous instruction.
Kaltura is a third-party video capture, storage, and delivery provider that powers video in Canvas and can be accessed by all UCSD community members with AD through Mediaspace.
In general assignment classrooms, an automated podcast system can capture the audio of your lectures, with the option of including slides and visuals from your computer or document camera.
