Canvas at UC San Diego

Canvas is the campus's official Learning Management System (LMS) for activities such as maintaining an online grade book, providing online course content, conducting online quizzes and examinations, and more.

All instructors have the option of conducting their course through this platform, through the use of their Active Directory (AD) credentials at canvas.ucsd.edu

Prior to the beginning of the term, the instructor of record will have a course shell that is automatically provisioned for them. This means that they will have an empty course shell to design and structure their course content.
